Participants at Integration of Life Skills Within the School Curriculum WorkshopThe Project targeted first to third form students of all secondary and junior secondary schools in Dominica. It aimed to sensitize youth on the issue of domestic violence and its devastating impact on society, and other related gender issues. It also sought to change the mind-set of youth in society towards positive change in their behaviours as regards the opposite sex. The ultimate goal of the Bureau’s continuous gender sensitization programme is the harmonious coexistence of both sexes so that they can equally contribute to the Development of our Dominican Society.
