Public Education on Laws as it Pertains to Women and Families

Public Education on Laws as it Pertains to Women and Families (Project)

The Project was funded by the OECS/Judicial Legal Reform Project and was implemented by the Women’s Bureau. It was aimed at sensitising the public on providing information to various groupings relevant to facilitating understanding, appreciation for and enforcement of several pieces of legislations and its implication for women and families.

The activities undertaken through this project allowed for the participation of youth and adults alike, persons at Grassroots level, other key players such as law enforcers and the general public in discussing relevant legislation. It also helped to raise persons’ awareness on existing gaps in terms of the laws discussed which provides insight for review.
